About the Valkyrie

Thank you for stopping by my shop! My name is Julie and some of you will find my initials on the bottom of your pieces. I am a full time medical lab technician/specimen processor, and I spend (most of) the remaining hours of the day creating, cooking, playing with my dogs, or at the lake.

I adore outdoor activities, from paddle boarding to roller skating to off roading to playing horseshoes. My happy place is cooking/grilling but I cannot bake for the life of me. I (proudly) reside in Texas where we can legally carry a katana and take our adult beverages to-go.

Galaxy tray- 2020

A lot of people have asked me how and when I got into doing this, and to be quite honest, THIS part wasn’t expected. Every year I gift myself something to learn for my birthday. Whether it be roller skating, running 72 miles for no reason, becoming a notary, etc. Just something new; some form of expansion. In 2019, I decided I wanted to make my own Tiffany blue tumbler for my birthday. I did that and had SO much resin to spare, so I went back to my hot rod painting days and made an American flag tumbler for the 4th of July. Then I got my first mold (a moon phase)… and it just grew and evolved from there.

I decided to start selling my pieces during the fall of 2020 and I honestly couldn’t tell you how many sales it took me to start this tedious, Godforsaken website, but I put it off as long as I could. My customers deserve an easy way to shop and pay- and if I didn’t start funneling everything into one place, I was liable to go mad. So, here we are. If you’ve made it this far, snaps to you. I look forward to seeing my creations in your home, on your dog, in your car, etc. It truly makes my day and I appreciate your business more than I can say. -Jewelz/Jewels/Ju Ju
